AmplifyRP® XRT for GLRaV-3 is a rapid RNA amplification and detection platform designed for testing grapevines for Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 3. This kit includes lyophilized reaction pellets containing the necessary reagents to amplify GLRaV-3 RNA and an endogenous RNA control at a single operating temperature (42 °C).
AmplifyRP® XRT is a real-time isothermal nucleic acid amplification and detection system that rapidly amplifies small portions of DNA or RNA and offers unrivaled detection capabilities in an easy-to-use testing format. It offers comparable sensitivity and specificity to published PCR methods while eliminating laborious and costly nucleic acid extractions.
The test can be performed virtually anywhere using the battery operated AmpliFire® fluorometer. Assay parameters are loaded via barcode and results are automatically displayed as ( + ) or ( - ).
Prior molecular diagnostic experience is not required to perform AmplifyRP® XRT tests.
NOTE: This assay requires a fluorometer to work properly.
Limit of Detection (LOD): 2.5 fg RNA transcript per reaction

- Exclusive: Does not detect: Arabis mosaic virus (ArMV), Botrytis cinerea, Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV), Grapevine fleck virus (GFkV), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 1 (GLRaV-1), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 2 (GLRaV-2), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 4 (GLRaV-4), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 7 (GLRaV-7), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 10 (GLRaV-10), Grapevine pinot gris virus (GPGV), Grapevine red blotch virus (GRBV), Little cherry virus 2 (LChV2), Phytoplasma solani, Phytoplasma vitis, Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV), Tomato ringspot virus (ToRSV), and Xylella fastidiosa (Xf)
